TODAY IS A FANTABULOUS DAYYY :D :D :D
its my...MY...
BIRTHDAY
the moment i have been waiting for the whole year. also a day for a full reflection of my life so far, i guess. i remember telling wanqi: our birthday's in 9 months! xD when other classmates had their birthdays in february, thinking that november was such a looong time away. but now, it sounds like a fluke, cos november's really here! :D
kudos to shuhui <3 for being the first person to wish me on the day itself :)) haha! fine, i shall vote you for kindness award okayyy :D and i received the most amazing birthday sms today(i bet the person who sent me must be going *glower glower xDD)
okay, so i was late for cca and kinda got kicked out by the drama teacher for no reason >< (other than i was late) so i went to the spectators stand to stone for awhile, when nobody was there. it was cool and breezy, and i sat there looking at the gigantic sky above me. so this was the view:
and then, i started thinking of all of the people i've met in these 14 years, and how they made a difference in these 14 years. it wasn't 14 years of waste, i'd accomplished stuff that i never thought i would, and all the disappointment of exam results every year, or all the sad and unhappy moments, i realised it all just the beautiful stepping stone of life that one has to learn to appreciate. then i thought of someone who'd taken care of me ever since i was born, who taught me to be strong but went back to her homeland and didn't come back, i felt saddened that she wasn't with me on my 14th birthday. (okay, so it isn't only because of your sms HAHAHA :D)
and then suddenly...i received this wonderful sms at the very time i was born(haha so now i know why you asked me :D) from this very wonderful friend :DD sorry i can't put your name here in case of...:O okay fine, shall call you pillowman in this post xD so pillowman sent me an sms that made me laugh until a student who passed by thought i was crazy :D for a second, i felt that i could for once forget about all those stupid worries in my head and enjoy the present, where i have lovely friends and a future to strive for(not saying i didn't have one xD) so i tried to think of something appropriate to reply with, but just ended up crying because i was really happy :) and so my reply ended up as lame and quiet to hide any signs of sniffing=.=
okay, enough of the emotional stuff.
lectures, lectures, lectures. of all lectures, why on my BIRTHDAY?! what's more, an AUDITION on my BIRTHDAY! rawr xD totally ruined my festive mood :( thanks alot. i know it was unavoidable, right? so i chose not to listen (quote from commercial: only hear the good stuff) the paper says it all anyway >< but i was quite happy with my playing :D considering i'd only practised that morning xDD (whoops hope you didn't read that).
okay, so guess where i went to eat dinner? SHERALTON YAAAY!! xDD the food there is...unbelievable, i can't use words to describe it(though i just did) :D

my whole family suddenly started smsing for no reason >< funny how technology affects people nowadays :DD

haha happy birthday! :DD the gentleman of a waiter gave it to me for free.
the waiter was...reaaally nice. he asked the pianist in the lounge to play a happy birthday song for me, and the singer to sing the happy birthday song!!! 0_0 i was STUNNED when i heard my name echoeing through the halls of the hotel. WENG CHEN!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! i think i fainted for a minute or so from shock >< but, it was a really pleasant surprise :DD not only did he take the trouble to do that, he also allowed me to take as many desserts as i wanted for free. I felt really bad, but one heck of a sister didn't =.=
look! at that smug expression! makes me wanna punch her >< because...i helped her take all the desserts that she wasn't supposed to eat! >< sheesh, just making use of me =.= hahaha xD
