hahaha, just had a very funny conversation with my parents who assume they know japanese.
my mum was going to eat...
*mum picks up chopsticks before eating and says: TADAIMA!!!
me: huh?
dad: its GOSHISOUSAMA DESU!
me: HUH?
me: (finally gets what they're talking about) oh! no, its itadakimasu.
then after eating...
me: oh, here's the change from the $10 note you gave me just now...
mom: CHOTTO MATTE!!!
me: hmmm?
mom: i said, chotto matte!
me: yeah, but why?
mom: you mean it doesn't mean thank you?
me: ohhh. its arigatou hahaha xD
yay kit booked me for ponya! xD
