HEY YOU GUYS! or girls. or readers of my blog :D
i'm elated to say this: its the HOLIDAYS. and i've finally resumed blogging after such a long hiatus(talk about the craaazy "tests" we have) and, if you've noticed, i probably sound much happier than i do in my previous few posts :) anyway, reluctantly decided to resume blogging today coz mummy didn't let me go out shopping T.T stupid swine flu, i have so many things against you now. because of you, i wont be flying to heaven tomorrow. and will be spending the next three weeks having empty thoughts of going there. Influenza A-trocious D:<
oh, so...almost died after having a marathon of tests till 6pm yesterday. (a whole 12 hours of using my brain) then rushed to amk hub with tiannie, chai, lynette and megan. we bought subway, (weitian and I decided to buy bubble tea :DDD), then we hurriedly got into a taxi and headed for fort canning park. while in the taxi, the driver kept telling us about road directions, then i realised that i was the only one who bothered to listen to him seriously. no offence, but i thought...okay nevermind. when we finally reached fort canning(thank god some of lynette's friends helped us reserve some space to sit), the crowd was just awesome~ >u< heidi arrived just when the play started hahaha! surprisingly, i managed to understand most of the play, but it was a little strange at some parts. Adrian Pang has a toned body. it was rather humid, but overall the play was goooood :) go watch it! Much Ado About Nothing and who would've thought someone else'd be there xP hahaha Clar was probably sitting near miss nair xD
no point getting depressed over my PPR so i shant be blogging about it.
dadadaaa. okay no mood to blog today. i really wanna go out :(

HapPEE WEEsak day! >u<

a bee crash dived into my skirt, bounced off and died :O
i think people nowadays are getting more and more simple minded. :/ soon, everyone'll become the SIMPSONS(horrors)

i think CME is useless. the government is avidly promoting good character that is sadly lacking in the DENIZENS(hahaha xD) of Singapore. and the stuff they teach is rather immature. not that i'm totally against it, cos some people really need to mug out good character(that is, by downloading CME powerpoint slides and reading them one by one in hope that they'll become better people.) well for example, mrs soh gave a talk on integrity. then she asked, "do you have integrity when you buy food back to class, or see your friends bringing food back to class and keeping mum?" buying food back to class has, unfortunately, nothing to do with integrity in my opinion. A basic human law is that when you're hungry, you EAT. to fill your stomach. what has it got to do with integrity? in the first place, i wonder why there is such a school rule that defies basic human needs, like eating. Why cant you eat in class when the canteen is so full there're no more places for you to eat at. so if the canteen is too full, and we're not allowed to eat in classrooms during recess, then we might as well not eat anything to save the trouble of being caught by teachers? Which is really immature. Surely your friend has a reason, or an urgency, to need to eat in class? would you tell on her, when she was merely eating...its not integrity. its being nosey. not minding your own business and feeling uncomfortable when you see people defying school rules to the extent that you can't hold it in and have to tell it to someone of higher authority, aka a teacher. i feel so sad for Singaporeans who are forced to take CME. i dont know...it just irks me how people lack character nowadays.
I get a F for CME when i help a poor st.nicks primary girl carry all her textbooks to the busstop when her paper bag broke. My friends get an A for CME when they stand at the side watching her cry. Of course, i wasn't thinking about grades at that time, but it made me think of CME. how people that lack character get A for CME. isn't Civics and Moral Ed all about helping one another, building character, ACTION and IMPACT? not just, a pile of stupid papers that you're forced to hand up so the teacher can check how you MUG CME .___.

(i'm actually hoping my form teacher'll read this but i doubt she will)
anyway, camp was a blast. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:D
no pictures cos the school banned all sources of imported, unnatural entertainment
first day was kinda boring, cos we had so many briefings i knocked out during the motivational talk that lasted for 3 whole hours.(aka 1/8 of a day) how should i get motivated when all i do is sit there and watch your mouth move =.= its like i'm forced to watch you eat popcorn for 3 hours. then before that, we brought our stuff to our huts to unpack, and i heard this girl say "huh? i thought huts were made of straw!!!" then while i was unpacking, a really big insect with a red ass crawled out from the crevices of the wooden floor and everyone around me started screaming. then the brave instructor(facil) Cynthia helped us sweep it off :D she's dark and handsome hahaha xD 3J's other facil, Jeremy HEEHEE aka dajie xD, was fair and pretty :D then we played navy seals :D we were supposed to(note: SUPPOSED TO) go kayaking but the teachers didn't allow us to play water games .___. i don't get it, every sec3 cohort went kayaking expect for ours. boring BORING boring. navy seals was quite a disappointment. we had to paste a piece of newspaper over a hoola-hoop and stick four pieces of wooden planks together to form a square where everyone had to fit in. then we had to use water pistols and plastic bags filled with water to throw at other groups' hoola hoops and create a dent in theirs to win the game. our group was the first to get pwned hahaha! xD anyway it was quite an experience :P then came dinner, and everyone was pleasantly surprised at the food. Its quite buffet-licious cos there's alot to eat, unlike all the camps that i previously went to. note: there was ALMOND PUDDING!!! <3 before we ate every meal, we had to shout a hungry cheer...its like this:

us: HUNGRY HUNGRY! (*clap clap)

JIAAAAAAAAA!!!(aka eat in hokkien :D)
then someone'd say a prayer to God and we'd dig in. then came "fear factor". the whole cohort had to use only 3 pails of soapy water to wash their dishes T___T i stared in disgust at the brown and oily, non-soapy water when it was my turn to wash so i just ran to the toilet to wash it instead hahaha xD then we went to bathe(sorry everything's not in chronological order!!! D:) 400 people had to squeeze inside 9 cubicles? and bathe within 30-45 minutes. the teachers are sooo smart, with such perfect time management. my cubicle didn't have a lock DDD: luckily weitian was behind to hold to door hahaha. then when we arrived back at our huts, feeling fresh and happy, we got scolded by our facils for being so unpunctual. but dajie's really nice so he can't scold people for nuts hahaha :D (thank you!) the curfew for bedtime was 11pm but we got scolded(another peptalk) by miss lim who blared in our ears and threatened that she would slaughter any soul who fell asleep amidst her groaning/troll-singing in the microphone. so we just stoned at our plates, watch our milos turn diluted and her droning went in and came out of our ears so nothing registered in our heads(we were really sleepy at 11pm anyway) then we had two minutes to finish our milo, wash our cups, run back to our huts, grab our toothbrushes, run for our lives to the available sinks in the toilets a mile away and dash back to tuck in before our facils started screaming at us. typical camp torture so i kinda expected it already :) then i was incharge of waking may, weitian, heidi and jolynn up(apparantly i'm the lightest sleeper :3) then at 4.55, i heard someone sleeping opposite me say "hey, its five minutes to six already!!!" alarmed, i hurriedly checked the watch May lent me and...omg i saw 5.55 too hahahahaha! xD so i waked May, Jolynn, Weitian and Heidi up, and the rest woke up from the whole commotion. all of a sudden may said "hey its only 4.55!!!" and i almost died on the spot hahaha xD our facils didn't let us wash up till 6am so everyone fell asleep again almost immediately 0_0
day2! we finally woke up and started HIGH ELEMENTS.(the highlight of the camp!) it was, scary beyond words xD but really fun in a way! i did the challenge rope course, where i had to climb up this pole with protruding stilts for me to step on till i was 3 storeys high. (when i looked down i almost fainted xD) i thought that the faster i got over it, the better it would be, so i just dashed up the freaking pole till Dajie started screaming "slower la!!! SLOWER LA!!!" xD then i jumped onto the first obstacle, a loose-hanging car tyre which i clung on for dear life(my fingers were numb and painful for half a day due to this xD) others who went just stepped onto the car tyre and straddled it with their other leg, but i HUGGED IT .___. then i managed to catch the rope attatched to the wooden plank next to it(the other obstacle) and hopped onto it. then came another tyre, and another wooden plank before i finally completed the heart-leaping exercise. I started screaming at the last wooden plank cos i couldn't reach the platform next to it xD

me: HUH?(i took alot of effort just to climb it)
me: stones in silence while hugging the rope of the wooden plank

me: omg this is crazy this is CRAZZYYYY!!! I HATE YOU ROPE COURSE AHHHHH!!!!
(classmates below resist the temptation to burst out laughing cos i'm still dangling in mid-air)
then when i finally did it the other way, i almost couldn't reach the platform cos my leg was too short T.T
me: MY LEG'S TOO SHORT DAMMMITTTTTT!!! (still in mid-air =.=)

bah i completed it anyway xD
then i wanted to do rock-climbing but there was insufficient time :( and i was cheering May on by shouting "MR SZE'S AT THE TOP!!!" xD she did really well though! :DDD (yayyy for you! :P) oh, the helmets stank like ___ it really stank like ___ so ___ stinky that everyone almost vomitted =.= my helmet was even waxy and slimy ewww T.T then...we went for team challenge! it was really fun but very, extremely exhausting cos everyone had to stick together and hold hands and stuff, most of us couldn't breathe after awhile due to lack of oxygen (defficiency of oxyhaemoglobin hahaha! xD) so you could see a whole can of sardine suffocating and gasping for air TuT (quote Huiyi: SARDINE ARE DEAD, HUMANS ARE ALIVE!!!) team challenge was divided into ROME<3s(my group yo! >u<) and HELSINKI(first half of class) to compete. first team challenge was to have all of us(about 20 people each) on a thin, square poncho while trying to flip the poncho over. It was the most time-consuming and Rome failed in the end hahaha xD Helsinki won :P(i shant mention they cheated mweheheh! xD) we almost suffocated playing it. next we moved on to the canteen, where we first had to arrange ourselves in register number order without stepping down the bench we were standing on(we were standing in one straight line) in the fastest time possible. rome won woots! :D then we had to arrange ourselves in order of height(yeah i know, so insulting xD) and rome won again! <3 then we had to arrange ourselves according to shoe-sizes without talking or hand gestures. Helsinki won hahaha xD then next team challenge was the most tiring, we spent 45 minutes UNTANGLING ourselves. everyone had to whole hands after joining in one big circle and we had to try to get back to the shape of a circle, of which both teams failed cos it was so tiring and something went wrong :D everyone was dripping with sweat when we were done >3<
next was...CAMPFIRE PREP!!! :D i like campfire alot hahaha xD it was really fun cos we had the sorry sorry dance and octopus dance that looked like a couple of monster-eating gorillas HAHAHA xD It was comical and Jeremy was really good at dancing! (almost everyone was jealous of his lady-like slender legs and were goggling at it hahaha! xD) apparantly he took ballet for a year in kindergarten, and chinese dance in primary school :O he's 21 this year and graduated from Trinity College in America majoring in languages so he has this makeshift american accent hahaha! xD class cheer was the best, after we sang "get high!" by F.I.R. then we went for EARLY SHOWER!!! which was the highlight of the day(besides rope course) cos we could take all the time we wanted to bathe, forgetting the class which was waiting for us eeep! xD when we came out of the cubicles they had irritated, black faces uh-oh :D
then we had dinner, MANGO PUDDING!!! <3 (quote weitian: SENSATIONAL! xD) then it was time for...CAMPFIRE!!! we said alot of cheers and went crazy, everyone let down their hair so it was a blast xD (i sorta miss it now TuT) every class performed their item infront of the cohort behind the fire. ours was epic fail(something i learnt from clar xD) but it was so fun nobody cared anyway hahaha :D three groups sang "i'm a barbie girl, in a barbie world~ life is PLASTIC, so FANTASTIC! you can brush my hair..." hahaha! xD and alot of them sang "nobody but you" by wonder girls...one of the classes copied our class cheer =.= then we had a dance competition, every class had to send a representative student and facilitator to dance. the first round would be the facililator starting the dance and the student had to mimic, whereas the following 2 rounds were led by the student dancers. really proud of Jolin and Dajie, who did a fantabulous job and WON!!! :D YAY GO 3JUSTICEEE! <3 (albeit jolin's not even a dancer xD) then througout the transition from one class' performance to the other, we had to dance like wild people hahaha! xD everyone went HIGH :DDD lastly, the facils performed a dance for us, with the song "para para sakura" that i last heard 5 years ago! xD i didn't know it was cantonese btw hahaha :P after the campfire, Mrs soh made 3J stay back and gave us really sweet postcards! <3 thank youuu! then Jeremy gave us an inspirational talk though he kept apologising and made everyone burst into tears cos apparantly his childhood was very sad :(

anyway, really grateful to Dajie Jeremy and Erjie Cynthia for all that they've done, you've really inspired us by the amount of effot you put in for this camp and to motivate us to become better people :D THANK YOU!!!
then we went to bed, sleepy and exhausted yet again.
the next day was BREAK CAMP! :) yunwen couldn't stop crying xD she used up 2 tissue packets i think :O then we said our cheers for the very last time, really miss the hungry cheer hahaha xD we had debriefing, and papers where we had to write letters to people sitting infront, behind and another person that we wanted to write to. i wrote to Melissa, Tiannie and Dajie :D we finally lifted our bags(some people like Huimin brought LUGGAGE BAGS xD) and headed to the bus to go home.
HOME SWEET HOME!!! i flopped on my bed and hibernated for 3 whole hours >u< chuuuuu!!!!

SLOWER LA!!!" xD then i jumped onto the first obstacle, a loose-hanging car tyre which i clung on for dear life(my fingers were numb and painful for half a day due to this xD) others who went just stepped onto the car tyre and straddled it with their other leg, but i HUGGED IT .___. then i managed to catch the rope attatched to the wooden plank next to it(the other obstacle) and hopped onto it. then came another tyre, and another wooden plank before i finally completed the heart-leaping exercise. I started screaming at the last wooden plank cos i couldn't reach the platform next to it xD

me: HUH?(i took alot of effort just to climb it)
me: stones in silence while hugging the rope of the wooden plank

me: omg this is crazy this is CRAZZYYYY!!! I HATE YOU ROPE COURSE AHHHHH!!!!
(classmates below resist the temptation to burst out laughing cos i'm still dangling in mid-air)
then when i finally did it the other way, i almost couldn't reach the platform cos my leg was too short T.T
me: MY LEG'S TOO SHORT DAMMMITTTTTT!!! (still in mid-air =.=)

bah i completed it anyway xD
then i wanted to do rock-climbing but there was insufficient time :( and i was cheering May on by shouting "MR SZE'S AT THE TOP!!!" xD she did really well though! :DDD (yayyy for you! :P) oh, the helmets stank like ___ it really stank like ___ so ___ stinky that everyone almost vomitted =.= my helmet was even waxy and slimy ewww T.T then...we went for team challenge! it was really fun but very, extremely exhausting cos everyone had to stick together and hold hands and stuff, most of us couldn't breathe after awhile due to lack of oxygen (defficiency of oxyhaemoglobin hahaha! xD) so you could see a whole can of sardine suffocating and gasping for air TuT (quote Huiyi: SARDINE ARE DEAD, HUMANS ARE ALIVE!!!) team challenge was divided into ROME<3s(my group yo! >u<) and HELSINKI(first half of class) to compete. first team challenge was to have all of us(about 20 people each) on a thin, square poncho while trying to flip the poncho over. It was the most time-consuming and Rome failed in the end hahaha xD Helsinki won :P(i shant mention they cheated mweheheh! xD) we almost suffocated playing it. next we moved on to the canteen, where we first had to arrange ourselves in register number order without stepping down the bench we were standing on(we were standing in one straight line) in the fastest time possible. rome won woots! :D then we had to arrange ourselves in order of height(yeah i know, so insulting xD) and rome won again! <3 then we had to arrange ourselves according to shoe-sizes without talking or hand gestures. Helsinki won hahaha xD then next team challenge was the most tiring, we spent 45 minutes UNTANGLING ourselves. everyone had to whole hands after joining in one big circle and we had to try to get back to the shape of a circle, of which both teams failed cos it was so tiring and something went wrong :D everyone was dripping with sweat when we were done >3<
next was...CAMPFIRE PREP!!! :D i like campfire alot hahaha xD it was really fun cos we had the sorry sorry dance and octopus dance that looked like a couple of monster-eating gorillas HAHAHA xD It was comical and Jeremy was really good at dancing! (almost everyone was jealous of his lady-like slender legs and were goggling at it hahaha! xD) apparantly he took ballet for a year in kindergarten, and chinese dance in primary school :O he's 21 this year and graduated from Trinity College in America majoring in languages so he has this makeshift american accent hahaha! xD class cheer was the best, after we sang "get high!" by F.I.R. then we went for EARLY SHOWER!!! which was the highlight of the day(besides rope course) cos we could take all the time we wanted to bathe, forgetting the class which was waiting for us eeep! xD when we came out of the cubicles they had irritated, black faces uh-oh :D
then we had dinner, MANGO PUDDING!!! <3 (quote weitian: SENSATIONAL! xD) then it was time for...CAMPFIRE!!! we said alot of cheers and went crazy, everyone let down their hair so it was a blast xD (i sorta miss it now TuT) every class performed their item infront of the cohort behind the fire. ours was epic fail(something i learnt from clar xD) but it was so fun nobody cared anyway hahaha :D three groups sang "i'm a barbie girl, in a barbie world~ life is PLASTIC, so FANTASTIC! you can brush my hair..." hahaha! xD and alot of them sang "nobody but you" by wonder girls...one of the classes copied our class cheer =.= then we had a dance competition, every class had to send a representative student and facilitator to dance. the first round would be the facililator starting the dance and the student had to mimic, whereas the following 2 rounds were led by the student dancers. really proud of Jolin and Dajie, who did a fantabulous job and WON!!! :D YAY GO 3JUSTICEEE! <3 (albeit jolin's not even a dancer xD) then througout the transition from one class' performance to the other, we had to dance like wild people hahaha! xD everyone went HIGH :DDD lastly, the facils performed a dance for us, with the song "para para sakura" that i last heard 5 years ago! xD i didn't know it was cantonese btw hahaha :P after the campfire, Mrs soh made 3J stay back and gave us really sweet postcards! <3 thank youuu! then Jeremy gave us an inspirational talk though he kept apologising and made everyone burst into tears cos apparantly his childhood was very sad :(

anyway, really grateful to Dajie Jeremy and Erjie Cynthia for all that they've done, you've really inspired us by the amount of effot you put in for this camp and to motivate us to become better people :D THANK YOU!!!
then we went to bed, sleepy and exhausted yet again.
the next day was BREAK CAMP! :) yunwen couldn't stop crying xD she used up 2 tissue packets i think :O then we said our cheers for the very last time, really miss the hungry cheer hahaha xD we had debriefing, and papers where we had to write letters to people sitting infront, behind and another person that we wanted to write to. i wrote to Melissa, Tiannie and Dajie :D we finally lifted our bags(some people like Huimin brought LUGGAGE BAGS xD) and headed to the bus to go home.
HOME SWEET HOME!!! i flopped on my bed and hibernated for 3 whole hours >u< chuuuuu!!!!

Even santa needs to frown once in a while.
When the best pattisier in the world is saddened, the sweetest of his deserts would taste bitter.
urrrgh can't stand it :X my mom just made me drink ginseng in the morning before i left for school, then during dinner today she made me drink this gigantic bowl of herbal soup that was gruesomely bitter, and right after the herbal soup, while i'm really full and nauseous and blogging away, she makes me drink yet another huge cup of ginseng. omgosh i really feel like puking.

today was a rather normal day(finally!) did lots of normal stuff, being a normal person...makes me feel kinda empty. CA3 was so exhausting, my eyelids felt heavy halfway through the paper. sakubun was disappointing, but not as bad as the previous one i got. wengchen, you can do it!!! i believe you can. :)
i think that olden singers sing so much better than modern ones, and olden songs sound much nicer than the modern hip and techno ones. I actually like Theresa Teng alot, she sings with emotion :D (especially her japanese songs) many singers nowadays fail to sing with SINCERITY and it saddens me to see how the industry is failing. グッドバイ マイ・ラブ---kandou shita. TuT (not the song, her voice xD)

today's my mom's birthday and i'm stuck at home mugging T.T (love ya lots, mom!) <3

leadership camp this wed-friday D: i dont like living like a caveman in the wilderness!!! bringing lots of mosquito repellant, (i heard a guy brought his mini refridgerator there and a girl brought her WII =.=) hahaha so anti-climatic! you go to the jungle, in hopes of making rash finds, fighting it all out in the wild, drinking river water, then you...stumble upon this guy wearing specs glued to his gameboy xD
i put on 3kg in two days omggg Q___Q glutton oh glutton meee:3
and i'm still waiting for someone nice and rich to bring me to Indulgz xD wheeeee!!!!
okay gonna do geog now, i dont wanna fail nihongo test! T.T
(75% is fail) i've decided that if i fail, i'm going to quit japanese and self-study at home >u< ahhh touch wood! D:<

今度はドラマのどみょうじではなく、今度のは...今度のは-
もう分かった。最初から、色々ごめなさい。

i'm going to bury myself in 新文化第三番 :) i depend on japanese to strive forward. japanese helps me study, helps me eat, helps me sleep. most importantly, it helps me to forget things. then i'll have alot more room to remember other things.
