nihongo on monday was just bizarre.
went to collect my trophy after school at JAS with dad:)) then coincidentally i remembered that i was having an interview. miss tew said she couldnt recognise me from last year haha, then weite said the exact same thing. do i look much much older? .__.
then in the midst of learning ayamarikata, a photographer guy, wielding this cool-looking camera(i bet if i ask sheen she'll know:D) suddenly came in and said he wanted to take photos of me. tabitha made regurgitating noises and started gasping "OMGG!!". haha damn cool. then she kept stealing the attention away like why?!?! its like, when i want to answer the questions(so that the interviewer would write good stuff about me) she'll hurriedly raise her hand or just exclaim the answer in a profound and "intelligent" manner. rawrr then to divert the attention of the interviewers back to me, i had to desperately try to answer even more questions than her and thats an amazing lot. i even volunteered. chia sensei must have been so amazed. then the moment i answered any question or smiled, the photographer would hurriedly rush to the front of the classroom where i was sitting and frantically take pictures. then the classroom was freaking flashing.. so i apologised to elmo and yuanting cos i felt it got irritating at some point for them :( gomen.
haha chia sensei's biased ttm btw :D cos i handed in my pw script one day late(totally not my fault), then cos the reporter was filming her when i told her it wasnt my fault, she was like "late..? aiya i wont count it as late. your script's very well done." i think she probably will get the next best teacher award for this.
then during break the reporter made me go to the next room to interview me.. and she recorded the whole convo down when i said something wrong in nihongo. instead of kaitai, cos i was frantically trying to think of stuff to say i accidentally blurted out kawaitai instead. T____T bahh not like she understands actually.
one of the questions went like..
R: what were you learning just now? something about dad cannot send me something.
me: the method of apologising in japanese. (explains procedure)
R: so all this stuff, so you like japanese because they are polite?
me: (i mean..obviously not right.) uh..no.
R: what advice would you give others who want to take up japanese as a 3rd language?
me: dont give up, think in japanese, converse in japanese, make it part of your daily life.
R: but how do you think in japanese? -.-
me: like..(mumbles something in japanese)
R: *laughs (i bet she must've been like WHAT THE __ ARE YOU SAYING =.=)
she then scribbled down anything juicy that she heard. like she asked for my japanese friend's name, what japanese food i like, etc.
i think i screwed the interview up D: like i missed out alot of stuff that i really really wanted to say. but i managed to say something like

me: i would like to bridge the ties between Japan and Singapore. I feel we have so many similarities and differences that we can share if the two countries were closer.

went to watch harry potter!! :D
went for nihongo with kit!! haha:D (gwong was super angry but anyway)
got isolated in a flu class and had listening compre .__. (mood spoiler)
chem test -.-
mep concert with mary-anne!! :D
uh..didnt study for geog test heh.
yeahp :)) i'll elaborate more when i've got the time.
university rankings are out and..University of Tokyo is now number 3. asdflhjkg;j i bet i'll never get in there .__. it used to be number9, then singapore number 10, but now its number 3, and singapore's still number 10 haha. way to go singapore.

OH SHUCKS!!
went with mom to buy some cds home to watch. my mum was hurrying so she randomly grabbed a few that said "academy award-winning" etc. then i randomly picked one to watch and the first scene was a a bed scene like omg .__. (the guy's freaking old but thats beside the point) so i hurriedly checked the back of the cd and it said "M18". luckily i went to switch it off before mom finished the linen -.-
anyway, August Rush seems quite nice :)))) but the front part was a bit draggy.
wanted to watch ice age 3 3D today but i didnt make it in time for the movie just because the amk hub ticket service totally lags like shit. The queue moves 0.0001mm/s. went j8 to eat lunch and shop in the end :DD
did 4h of trig ratio and binomial.. then fell alsleep.
i want to see your face..why? i need answers.
edit: I AM SUPER DUPER UBER YUBER HAPPY RIGHT NOW. :) yes lets go.

-In accordance with the direction from the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA), Kingyo-sukui (goldfish scooping) will be discontinued. :((
5000 advance tickets are available on a first-come-first-served basis at JAS Front Office (1F) from 13 July (Mon).
Admission:
$2 Advance tickets are for sale to JAS members only.
Each person is required to purchase 1 ticket for admission
Please note:

my scenario: doesnt bother doing the above cos it'll just be "i love him not. i love him not. i love him not. i love him not."
am i really tired. my brain capacity just exploded from 3 hours of hardcore chem. anyway.. i'll just have to discuss the thing with chia gs, seetow sensei etc. on monday after CA4. but i hope they wont ask..

cos it'll be.. hold your breath

then they'll stop the entire interview and give me the dont-bluff-me look. then i'll give them the i'm-not-bluffing-oh-please look. and they'll return it with a i-still-dont-believe look. and i'll go.. "fine! you're fired!" haha like i'll evr be able to do that :D
another hard question would be "why do you like japanese?" i dont know why. its not because of anime, manga or jpop....i really dont know why =.= neither can i tell them "i dont know" cos they'll probably think i'm trying to act mystical and stuff.

yesterday GM was really fun:DD the examiner was mechashinsetsu too :) and blur. but that comes in a good way, cos there's a section of the exam where you have to listen to her play a song and spot 5 mistakes that she made. and soon after..

me: uh.. YEAH YEAH:D(duh)
examiner: okayy.
then i met ethel! and found out about heehee.
went for lunch together, with dad and ate shellpasta with milky cheese:))
then i went back to school and guess what. i actually made it back for 10mins of chem spa -.-
oh! but before my exam, i was really pissed at the school general office servant. she's totally __, everyone who went there thinks so too. you should do the school a big favour and not __. but i cant stand the fact that she freaking rolled her eyes at me. her pupils made a 360c revolution around the circumference of her eyes =.= and she just shouted at me infront of the many people there to show that she, being a servant, actually had "authority". i. hate. immature. people. like her >( and the worst thing was i didnt do anything wrong. cos mrs soh told me to go to the general office to pass the
slave: (snaps at me) WHAT.
me: uhh. my teacher told me to pass this to you at the counter.
slave: (rolls eyes) NO, WHAT CLASS ARE YOU FROM?! (shouts yet again)

dots and polka dots. i'm going to change this blogskin real soon :) just have to find time to make a new one..
anyway, today was quite a fun day. watched martha stewart(something bored people do) and fell asleep amidst her hallucination-provoking talking. then ate baked-rice that had awfully cheesy cheese that maybe jane would've appreciated but after which i totally lost my appetite D: then..went to pass miss yap! <3 her birthday present(though she never revealed to me her age) then went shopping with sis. again. HAHAHAHA you cant stop me~ :P but i feel awesomely guilty-- cos i bet everyone was busy mugging at home :X

Mr S Iswaran, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Education.. he talked to me omgg. then infront of Mr Lai ah keow and Mr Teng Theng Dar, he asked me "why did you choose japanese as a 3rd language?" then i replied him "many people choose japanese due to their pop culture like anime and manga. but i chose japanese because i have a pure interest and passion in their language and culture." Then he said something that i'd never ever forget..
"you have exceptional talent." (melts)
then Mr Teng asked me "do you have plans, after your secondary school years?" and i said "i would like to go to Japan for my University Education." then they applauded and said "GOOOOD." then i was actually waiting for them to continue with "__" but they didnt. mattettanoni, douushite?!! Q__Q
oh yar, then during the prize presentation, there was a second when my heart froze when they read out "5th place, tham wan xin" omgg i freaked out. until suddenly i saw another girl walking up the stage, then i realised it wasnt me. cheyy. i stuffed myself to the brim during buffet haha:D shiawase. Congrats, Natalie Ng i fell in <3 with your speech. and mingmin, hope to see you in this year's Nihongo de asobou!! :DDDD
then went out with kotti, keisaru and ochiyo to donguri yattaaaa!! >u< the last time they took me there i ate katsudon too haha. food was awesomeeee max. the next time kitchong talks to me in jap i will answer him in jap too haha! :)) mizusensei treated me D: i feel damn bad cos last year they also treated me at donguri. ah well but it was super fun. kochan was making a hoe for her little people using my speech contest content booklet. but she's alot more independant nowadays. last year, she used to scream and cry when i had to go cos she didnt want me to leave when she had to go back home.

JAS people dont deserve such treatment. people working in JAS should at least have the knowledge of basic japanese vocabulary, not just memorise the names of all the food .__. same for the library, the last time i went there, some small kid had to ask her mother to help talk in broken english to the librarians cos they couldnt converse in japanese. they might as well not work in JAS. anyway, Sheen and Kitchong=saikou :) cos you guys were sitting in the middle of the audience, i needed a focal point to concentrate when i was saying my speech, so.. tada!:D

HAHAHAHA you cant stop me~ :P but i feel awesomely guilty-- cos i bet everyone was busy mugging at home :X

Mr S Iswaran, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Education.. he talked to me omgg. then infront of Mr Lai ah keow and Mr Teng Theng Dar, he asked me "why did you choose japanese as a 3rd language?" then i replied him "many people choose japanese due to their pop culture like anime and manga. but i chose japanese because i have a pure interest and passion in their language and culture." Then he said something that i'd never ever forget..
"you have exceptional talent." (melts)
then Mr Teng asked me "do you have plans, after your secondary school years?" and i said "i would like to go to Japan for my University Education." then they applauded and said "GOOOOD." then i was actually waiting for them to continue with "__" but they didnt. mattettanoni, douushite?!! Q__Q
oh yar, then during the prize presentation, there was a second when my heart froze when they read out "5th place, tham wan xin" omgg i freaked out. until suddenly i saw another girl walking up the stage, then i realised it wasnt me. cheyy. i stuffed myself to the brim during buffet haha:D shiawase. Congrats, Natalie Ng i fell in <3 with your speech. and mingmin, hope to see you in this year's Nihongo de asobou!! :DDDD

today was a dream. i dunno, it felt like a dream.
thank you everyone who in some way or another helped me, thank you blah blah, especially to mizukawasenseitachi, parents, and the two lovely shinyuus who came to support me :D and dionne for her whole-hearted encouragement and cheerfulness. love all of ya truckloads!!!! <3 (and congrats dionne, you did fabulously :)) i'm grateful to all the people who went there to support me, and of course those that supported me emotionally :D thank you.
anyway..
i'm feeling very dreamish now, like all of this didnt happen cos its really too good to be true. i didnt forget any lines, everyone was very supportive, one year actually passed since i came here, and i actually spent a day together with: 1)mizukawas, 2)two superly super wonderful friends, 3)my family, 4)everybody altogether. too good to be true, tell me how dreamish this feels.

i would do anything to make this day repeat itself.

omgggg aaaaaaaaaahh crash bang ponk honk.
i just realised that i have a competition 2 days later zomgwth?!!
anyway went out with maymay to j8 after school! :D wanted to go Tampinessmall but it's too far awayy .__. lazy to travel there and my gastric was quite bad so we decided to just go j8 and talk. anw bought weitian's present :)))) super cute. <3
then then....
we talked and talked and ate ice-cream. the end:D lurve ya too!!

cca's out of my mind. gwong blah blah quek blah censored censored blahh. aiya whatever luh.
if the cca collapses or whatever crap, reflect.

if you think you're smart, dunk your head in the well.
i mean, of course you love cca. thats cos the cca teachers and everyone there worships you. when you say someone is ugly everyone agrees with you. whatever you do, people will be watching from afar, glorifying your throne and showering you with praises of approval. evil me is hoping that you'll chance upon this blogpost. why're there so many inner conflicts? many a time stringers just break into tears randomly?
i know there's no such thing as "all your fault!" but the same applies to "all their fault" and "not my fault" or "nobody's fault".
i think if i'm the only one wearing invest U+platform shoes on sunday i'll just faint from embarrassment. i really hope Dionne's wearing them too. :)
i'm afraid i'll be disappointed. i know everyone really pinned skyscraper hopes on me. urrgh no time to be afraid :/ back to practice.

the same thing happens over and over again. so annoying grrrr D:<

me: (falls asleep cos i've done it finish)

mrs soh: *looks for errors. uhm.. then just remain silent.
but today i just gave up explaining cos she's always like that. :/

classmates chorusing: i dont know how to do, i dont know how to do....
i should be allowed to sleep. its not fair, i just sit there and do nothing.. might as well sleep. Unless she expects me to be observing the blank and helpless looks on their faces .__. its just circles, really. the "its hard" part is psychological cos we did this stuff in p6.
