nihongo on monday was just bizarre.
went to collect my trophy after school at JAS with dad:)) then coincidentally i remembered that i was having an interview. miss tew said she couldnt recognise me from last year haha, then weite said the exact same thing. do i look much much older? .__.
then in the midst of learning ayamarikata, a photographer guy, wielding this cool-looking camera(i bet if i ask sheen she'll know:D) suddenly came in and said he wanted to take photos of me. tabitha made regurgitating noises and started gasping "OMGG!!". haha damn cool. then she kept stealing the attention away like why?!?! its like, when i want to answer the questions(so that the interviewer would write good stuff about me) she'll hurriedly raise her hand or just exclaim the answer in a profound and "intelligent" manner. rawrr then to divert the attention of the interviewers back to me, i had to desperately try to answer even more questions than her and thats an amazing lot. i even volunteered. chia sensei must have been so amazed. then the moment i answered any question or smiled, the photographer would hurriedly rush to the front of the classroom where i was sitting and frantically take pictures. then the classroom was freaking flashing.. so i apologised to elmo and yuanting cos i felt it got irritating at some point for them :( gomen.
haha chia sensei's biased ttm btw :D cos i handed in my pw script one day late(totally not my fault), then cos the reporter was filming her when i told her it wasnt my fault, she was like "late..? aiya i wont count it as late. your script's very well done." i think she probably will get the next best teacher award for this.
then during break the reporter made me go to the next room to interview me.. and she recorded the whole convo down when i said something wrong in nihongo. instead of kaitai, cos i was frantically trying to think of stuff to say i accidentally blurted out kawaitai instead. T____T bahh not like she understands actually.
one of the questions went like..
R: what were you learning just now? something about dad cannot send me something.
me: the method of apologising in japanese. (explains procedure)
R: so all this stuff, so you like japanese because they are polite?
me: (i mean..obviously not right.) uh..no.
R: what advice would you give others who want to take up japanese as a 3rd language?
me: dont give up, think in japanese, converse in japanese, make it part of your daily life.
R: but how do you think in japanese? -.-
me: like..(mumbles something in japanese)
R: *laughs (i bet she must've been like WHAT THE __ ARE YOU SAYING =.=)
she then scribbled down anything juicy that she heard. like she asked for my japanese friend's name, what japanese food i like, etc.
i think i screwed the interview up D: like i missed out alot of stuff that i really really wanted to say. but i managed to say something like
R: what do you plan to do with your japanese language?
me: i would like to bridge the ties between Japan and Singapore. I feel we have so many similarities and differences that we can share if the two countries were closer.

after that i ate marshmallows hahahaha :D its super cute!!

how do you smell somebody's hair when you're sitting right at the end of the classroom?!?! please dont tell me you really smell my hair every week Q__Q
